Flavio Pechansky is Tenured Full Professor and former Director of the Center for Drug and Alcohol Research affiliated with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, and the Collaborating Center on Alcohol and Drugs inside the Hospital de Clinicas of Porto Alegre (HCPA), a large teaching hospital associated with the university.
